Mr.Gregg

Gregory L. Gregg has practiced law in Houston since 1969. In 1966 Mr. Gregg received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin; and in 1969 he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Baylor University School of Law. Mr. Gregg is a member of the State Bar of Texas and a former Director of the Houston Mortgage Bankers Association. Mr. Gregg practices in the area of residential real estate law.

 

 


Mr.Valby

Scott R. Valby has practiced law in Houston since 1981. In 1977 Mr. Valby received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University; and in 1981 he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Law. While in law school Mr. Valby was Articles Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law; and in 1980 he received the Student Writing Award for his Case Comment published in Volume 13 of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. Mr. Valby is a co-author of the Legal Handbook for the Entrepreneur and the Businessperson.

Mr. Valby is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the College of the State Bar of Texas, as well as a Charter Scholar and an Honored Endowment Fund Scholar of the College of the State Bar of Texas. He serves the mortgage lending industry as a current Director of the Houston Mortgage Bankers Association and the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, previously as Associate Representative on the Executive Committee of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association for 2003-2004, and as the Associate Editor of the Texas Mortgage Lending Law and Practices Handbook. Mr. Valby practices in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, corporate, and business law; and he is Board Certified in Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Karen H. Miller

Karen H. Miller has practiced law in Houston since 1990. For the two years prior to that she served as a title attorney for a major North Carolina title insurance company. In 1980 Ms. Miller received a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Loyola University of Chicago; and in 1986 she received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Illinois College of Law. Ms. Miller is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the College of the State Bar of Texas, and the North Carolina State Bar.  Ms. Miller practices in the areas of residential and commercial real estate law.

 


Thomas G. Overbeck

Thomas G. Overbeck has practiced law in Houston since 1985. In 1980 Mr. Overbeck received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University; and in 1983 he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Baylor University School of Law. Mr. Overbeck has been admitted to practice before the courts of the State of Texas, all United States District Courts in the State of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is also a member of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Overbeck practices in the areas of residential real estate and construction law.

 


Jodi D. Sealy

Jodi D. Sealy has practiced law in Dallas since 1993. In 1989 Ms. Sealy received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University; and in 1993 she received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Southern Methodist University. Ms. Sealy is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Young Lawyers Association. Ms. Sealy has several years of experience in the title insurance industry working as an escrow closer for both residential and commercial real estate transactions. Ms. Sealy practices in the area of residential real estate law.

 


Grant A. Hamilton

Grant A. Hamilton has practiced law in Houston since 2005. Mr. Hamilton has several years of industry experience in the areas of origination, servicing, and title insurance. In 1998 Mr. Hamilton received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin; and in 2005 he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. Mr. Hamilton is a member of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Hamilton practices in the area of residential real estate law. Mr. Hamilton has been approved by the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending to offer Continuing Education credits to mortgage brokers.

 


Emily Wang

Emily Wang has practiced law in Houston since 2000. In 1996 Ms. Wang received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Smith College; and in 2000, she received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, summa cum laude, from South Texas College of Law. Ms. Wang is a member of the State Bar of Texas. She practices in the areas of residential and commercial real estate law.
